LA 26 Driving Institute is owned and operated by Rob Higgins a former St Tammany Parish Sheriff Deputy, who currently is a local business owner with 20+ years of experience. Rob realized the urgent need for Driving Schools in our area that would provide a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for teens and adults. With his past Law Enforcement experience and strong ties to the community Rob will work with local and state agencies to provide students with the knowledge and confidence to become safe and courteous drivers.
Our goal
Our goal is to hire current and retired professionally trained first responders to help educate young drivers on the responsibilities of being a licensed driver. With local Law Enforcement, Fire and First Responder agencies being a part of our team of instructors, we will bring awareness to the dangers of impaired driving, distracted driving and promote proper safety habits and seat belt use, to save lives.
